Project from the book and the movie!

Option 1
1. Create a Collage: Using any images you may find, create a collage that contains scenes or images that could appear in the novel or the movie. The images should be period and region appropriate. They should look like the Southern  U.S. and should contain nothing that did not exist before 1939. The homes, styles of clothing and dress, and automobiles should be from this era. In Maycomb, there are only white and black people in the story so be sure to only include images of this sort.
Collage may be cut and pasted or composed using images from the net on a web page, or a piece of computer-size/printer-size paper or any other medium you choose as long as it is not smaller than a 8 1/2 x 11 page.

This link will be helpful for images: Depression Era Pictures but you should also include images from at least two other sites.

Your actors may come from television, stage, or movies.

  2. The poster must contain an image of a southern town or vista that matches what we learn about Maycomb. and the faces of the actors you cast must appear on the poster.

  3. Each actor used must be referred to by making reference to another movie or show they have appeared in. Example: Starring as Scout, the lovable Lisa Simpson, fresh from her Oscar triumph in "Bart Goes to Military School"

  4. You must have a short synopsis of the movie, no more than 25 words in 16 font size or less.

  5. You must create a short, catchy phrase that will stick in the mind of those who see the poster. It must be in 16 - 24 font size. Example: "I'll be back." or "Make my day."

  6. You must prepare a Works Cited page to contain a thumbnail-size view of the image and the URL.  example.
