Unwired Enterprise Systems
The growth of mobile or unwired usage has increased globally for last few years and there is prediction of continuous grow in coming years. Globalization has made possible for the enterprise to capture different new markets and increase their revenues but this thing also increase competition among enterprises. So in a situation where enterprise could capture whole corporate market while operating at same place, and want to work twenty four hours a day and seven days a week in order to counter competition then the importance of mobile usage in enterprise systems would increase. This thesis is a step forwards to the growth of mobile usage among enterprise systems and main purpose is to answer, how the design of mobile aware software systems can improves…Contents

Ambulance management system using GIS
For emergency service providers, giving their service in least time shows their best performance. Emergency hospitals will be at their best if the ambulance reaches the site in Golden hour where life of injured persons can be saved. Ambulance uses the road network to reach the accident site. Today there are many GIS based systems being developed for routing of ambulance using GPS and other real-time technologies. These systems are useful and play a major role in solving the routing problem. But now roads are so congested that it difficult for the Ambulance drivers to travel and reach the accident. In this thesis present study area is studied and problems faced by emergency service providers on road network are identified. In this thesis GIS/GPS/GSM based prototype system has been developed for routing of ambulance on road network of Hyderabad city (AMS)…Contents

Wireless systems in a warehouse
Mobile computing and wireless systems are becoming more common as wireless technology evolves. Many authors argue that wireless systems can provide advantages and value to organisations, such as increased efficiency and effectiveness. Literature also shows that wireless systems especially suits companies within the logistics industry. However, some authors also highlight disadvantages regarding these solutions, for example insufficient security. The purpose of this thesis is to present advantages and disadvantages for organisations regarding usage of wireless systems in a warehouse setting, and the factors that have an influence over these advantages and disadvantages…Contents

Wireless Sensor Network Deployment in Mobile Phones Environment
Participatory sensing is a rising and promising field, which utilizes mobile phone users as mobile wireless sensors to gather data. However, because of the randomness of its participants, it is necessary to deploy wireless sensors in the sensing area at the same time, in order to gather enough quantity data with satisfactory quality. The deployment becomes a challenge because participatory sensing processes are dynamic and wireless sensor networks are relatively static. In this thesis, we propose a framework for the wireless sensors deployment in the participatory sensing campaigns. The aim is to minimize the number of sensors deployed, while providing enough satisfactory quality of data…
